Abstract

The creation of an institution for the blind born of an investigation, where the idea is to fight and try to solve the problem of blind and visually weak, in the city of Morelia, which is why it has been thought in the project of an institution where would be protected from this population, which would mean a way to train them well so that they can rehabilitate them fend for themselves under any circumstances according to their age and limitations We need to find a solution; which would teach them to be self-sufficient and also to file with this problem, would benefit everyone, first they learn to function in the professional field, joining the labor system of society feeling productive at the same time social and economically independent, for Moreover the general community would learn to live with them, to respect them and accept them as an individual over society. The rehabilitation will never be complete, nor social integration a reality, but try to transform or adapt to the cities and all their infrastructure so that they can live in complete independence all that in them dwell, including those who are blind and visually impaired. Architecturally it is necessary to emphasize the importance of design, build and build for all those blind and visually impaired and can thus access the physical spaces and use them in a dignified manner. Considering that the country needs more and better care centers for the blind and visually weak, needs to improve existing as useless buildings that have not provide the support represented by the architecture, being that this has a number of valuable elements that go beyond the view, as the architecture is created to hear, touch, explore and generally living.

El crear una institución para invidentes nace de una investigación, en donde la idea es el combatir y tratar de solucionar la problemática del ciego y débil visual, en la ciudad de Morelia, es por eso que se ha pensado en el proyecto de una Institución donde se protegería parte de esta población, lo que significaría una forma de capacitarlos además de rehabilitarlos para que puedan valerse por sí mismos bajo cualquier circunstancia de acuerdo a su edad y limitaciones. Necesitamos dar una solución; la cual sería enseñarlos a ser autosuficientes y además al radicar con esta problemática, nos beneficiaríamos todos, por una parte ellos aprenderían a desenvolverse en el ámbito profesional, incorporándose al sistema laboral de la sociedad sintiéndose productivos, al mismo tiempo independientes social y económicamente, por otra parte la comunidad en general aprenderíamos a convivir con ellos, a respetarlos y a aceptarlos como un individuo más de nuestra sociedad. La rehabilitación nunca será completa, ni la integración social una realidad, pero se debe tratar de transformar o adaptar a las ciudades y toda su infraestructura para que en ellas puedan vivir en absoluta independencia todos los que en ellas moran, incluyendo a los que son ciegos y débiles visuales. Arquitectónicamente es necesario hacer hincapié en la importancia que tiene el diseñar, construir y edificar para todas aquellas personas ciegas y débiles visuales, pudiendo así, acceder a los espacios físicos y usarlos de una manera digna. Tomando en cuenta que el país necesita más y mejores centros de atención para el ciego y débil visual, necesita mejorar los existentes ya que de nada sirve contar con edificaciones que no aportan el apoyo representado por la arquitectura, siendo que esta posee toda una serie de elementos valiosos que van más allá de la vista, ya que la arquitectura se crea para oírla, tocarla, explorarla y en general vivirla.
