Biblioteca digital para la UMSNH ampliación de la Biblioteca General

Abstract

The first digital libraries appeared between the sixties and seventies, they were based on the automatization of the bibliographical information and brief summaries. The interest in them grew since 1994, with the creation of the Digital Libraries Initiative, with the objective of promoting technological progress in collecting, storing and organizing digital information. The general directorate of libraries of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo has the possibility of expanding the space of the general library of University City (CU), which has two projects, one in 2001 and the bachelorDegreeWork one in 2006, that today are obsolete for new generations, that is why a new approach is required.

Las primeras Bibliotecas Digitales surgen entre los años sesenta y setenta del siglo XX, se basaban en la automatización de noticias bibliográficas y de pequeños resúmenes. El interés hacia ellas creció a partir de 1994, gracias a la creación de la Digital Libraries Initiative, con la finalidad de impulsar el progreso tecnológico en la recolección, almacenamiento y organización de la información digital.
