Abstract

During the first chapter we will review the history of how Mexico acquired its current health culture, focusing on moments that helped or halted the evolution of today’s health network. We will transport ourselves to the to the county of Zihuatanejo in the Mexican state of Guerrero with the purpose of learning its historical background, location and the infrastructure of the current health network. The main trigger and actor is the population, we need to identify its needs in order to be able to plan the required infrastructure, that’s why, in the second chapter we make an analysis of the different population factors, by studying its demography, growth, as well as future projections that can help make clear the scenario in which we find ourselves. As a complement for the second chapter, because of the value it provides as an insight of information, and as a fundamental support for making decisions, we consider the epidemiological analysis in chapter three, which lets us know what kind of infrastructure is demanded by the population for the attention of Zihuatanejo health needs. The fourth chapter is the next step in completing an integral analysis, it’s a study of diverse factors that form the environment, such as the natural and the artificial, and the identification of the zone that will be studied is made, following the factors that conform our natural surroundings as well as the ones part of the artificial and that will be an impact in our decision making. Under this environment there are laws and regulations that will rule the health unit architectural design, of which we will talk during the fifth chapter, in this chapter we mention the the most important and essential points for the good design of our project.

En el primer capítulo se hace un repaso por la historia, de cómo México fue adquiriendo su actual cultura por la salud, haciendo énfasis en los momentos que ayudaron o frenaron la evolución de la red de atención a la salud. Nos trasladamos al municipio de Zihuatanejo en el estado de Guerrero con el objetivo de conocer sus antecedentes históricos, su ubicación y la conformación de su infraestructura de salud. Los principales detonadores y actores son la población, sus necesidades son las que debemos de identificar para crear una planificación de la infraestructura demandada, por lo que, en el segundo capítulo se hace un análisis de los diferentes factores de tipo poblacional, estudiando su demografía, su crecimiento y sus proyecciones entre otros para aclarar el escenario en el cual estamos ubicados. Como complemento del capítulo dos pero que tiene gran relevancia por su valor informático, ya que es un apoyo fundamental para la toma de decisiones, es el análisis epidemiológico considerado dentro del capítulo tercero, ya que nos da a conocer el tipo de infraestructura que demanda la población para la atención de las necesidades de salud en Zihuatanejo. El capítulo cuarto es el siguiente paso para llegar a un análisis integral, es el estudio de diversos factores que componen el entorno como son el natural y artificial, se hace una identificación de la localización de la zona de estudio, siguiendo con los factores que conforman nuestro medio natural así como aquellos que son parte del medio artificial y que nos van a impactar en la toma de decisiones. Dentro de este entorno existen las leyes y normas que nos van a regir para el diseño arquitectónico de la unidad de salud, de las cuales se habla en el capítulo quinto, en él se mencionan los puntos más importantes y esenciales para el buen diseño de nuestro proyecto.
