Abstract

Since it was founded the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolas de Hidalgo has assumed the social commitment of preparing professionals, without making any distinction of social classes, therefore in coordination with the government of the state, supported with resources to those who need it most; one of those ways is through the houses of the student, which have opened the doors to many students who did not have the possibility of studying. There are currently 36 houses for students in the city of Morelia, of which none of them was built to operate as such, therefore there are spaces adapted to that young students can live. Coming to the conclusion that young people need a place that is special to them and through the study and development of this project proposal was made on the basis of the needs that they expressed.

Desde su fundación la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo ha asumido el compromiso social de preparar profesionistas, sin hacer distinción alguna de clases sociales, por lo tanto en coordinación con el gobierno del estado, apoyan con recursos a los que más lo necesitan; una de esas vías es a través de las casas del estudiante, las cuales han abierto las puertas a muchos alumnos que no tenían la posibilidad de estudiar. En la actualidad existen 36 casas de estudiantes en la ciudad de Morelia, de las cuales ninguna fue construida para funcionar como tal, por lo tanto son espacios adaptados para que los jóvenes estudiantes puedan vivir. En base al estudio realizado a lo largo de este proyecto se expone las condiciones en las se encuentran los espacios más críticos en los que llegan a habitar los jóvenes, justificando así la realización de este proyecto. Posterior a esto se desglosa entonces las necesidades que tienen los jóvenes estudiantes de nivel superior para poder desarrollar sus actividades cotidianas, y en base a esto se comienza a desglosar el proyecto el cual está diseñado para ellos, buscando que tengan su espacio y de esta manera impulsarlos a desarrollar sus habilidades ya que se les da espacios de recreación, atención psicológica, áreas de convivencia, biblioteca, salón de usos múltiples, comedores, gimnasio, dormitorios para hombre y para mujeres, entre otros. Llegando a la conclusión de que los jóvenes necesitan un lugar que sea especial para ellos y a través del estudio y desarrollo de este proyecto se hizo la propuesta en base a las necesidades que ellos manifestaron.
