Centro regional de artesanías del municipio de Tzintzuntzan

Abstract

Tzintzuntzan,Michoacán, its a town internationaly known by their habits and traditions, nowadys its going through an important development since it was recognized as “Pueblo Mágico”, governments priority its to take care and difusse their ancestral costumes so the town can enter in the wordlwide dynamic of “cultural tourism”. Whit this idea, this Project offers a place that joins the tourism and culture concepts under the “Centro Regional”, meeting different activities like teaching how to make a handicraft, with expositions giving usefull information about the comunity, the habits, the people, and the option of sell and buy the same Handycraft th at are produced in the place. The purpose is to create a usefull space for apprentices, artists, tourists and to the general public, a place where they can appreciate the handycrafts process and value the artistic work its behind every object. It begins by knowing the basic infomrataion about materials,forms and anbachelorDegreeWork details, it continues by watching some of the manufacture and fabrication process, and it ends in the purchase of the products, the turist buying, and the artists selling. All these phases are an important piece of the atraction for the tourist,who travels to the town to watch,live and be a part of the culture,wich is reflected in handycrafts and typical food.These two imporant parts of the escense of Tzintzuntzan are offered in the project. The design of the project has considered the “Magic Town” idea, adjusting it to the future projects from the promotors. It´s sugested to place the project near the “touristic area” ,to manage that its nacessary that the building is in accordance with its context, using the materials and forms used in the community, avoiding eccentricity. To minimize environmental impact, the Project considers some tecniques to take advantage of the natural resources given by the place.

El municipio de Tzintzuntzan, Michoacán, conocido internacionalmente por mantener sus tradiciones, actualmente se encuentra en una importante etapa de desarrollo, desde su reconocimiento como pueblo mágico, cuidar y preservar las tradiciones ancestrales del pueblo, así como difundirlas y entrar a la dinámica del “turismo cultural”. Con base en esta idea, el presente proyecto presenta una propuesta que conjuga aspectos culturales y turísticas bajo el concepto de “Centro Regional” , fungiendo como punto de unión de diversas actividades como enseñanza de elaboración de artesanías, exposiciones con información tanto de la comunidad como de los productos y la opción de compra-venta de las artesanías. Esto con la intención de establecer un espacio útil tanto para aprendices, artesanos y turistas; creando un espacio que tenga la facultad de englobar todo el proceso de una artesanía, desde la comprensión de datos para su elaboración, como el conocimiento de las diversas técnicas para fabricarlas, la facilidad de ver la producción de las mismas, y por último, su adquisición. Todas estas etapas de la elaboración de una artesanía sirven además como atractivo para el turista, que viaja al pueblo de Tzintzuntzan principalmente a observar y vivir la cultura que se respira, y parte de esta cultura se expresa en las artesanías así como en su comida típica, la cual también se toma en cuenta en el proyecto. Con la finalidad de adaptarse al Pueblo Mágico, así como a los diversos proyectos previstos por diversos promotores para su impulso, el proyecto del Centro Regional se ubica en una zona cercana al área turística y está diseñado para no romper con el entorno y adecuarse al conjunto turístico. El diseño también toma en cuenta el impacto ambiental presentando un par de ecotecnias que aprovechan las condiciones naturales de la localidad en beneficio de los usuarios.
