Abstract

This document presents the proposal of the Executive Project of the Artisan and Cultural Center, located in the tenancy of Capula Michoacán, which is recognized nationally for its main economic and tourist activity that develops: "The Pottery" making intone of the main destinations of the state of Michoacán. The Artisan and Cultural Center is a space dedicated to the preservation of popular art "The Pottery" and cultural, educational and artistic activities. It is the solution to the lack of infrastructure in artisan and cultural aspects, benefiting the inhabitants and visitors with the purpose of preserving the culture and rescue traditions that characterize this Tenancy. Through an analysis to the context a Mexican architecture of integration is proposed which incorporates vernacular elements of the region, functionalist principles, as well as the search for identity, appropriation and experience within the space.

Este documento presenta la propuesta del Proyecto Ejecutivo del Centro Artesanal y Cultural, ubicado en la tenencia de Capula Michoacán, la cual es reconocida a nivel nacional por su principal actividad económica y turística que desarrolla: “La Alfarería” convirtiéndola en uno de los principales destinos turísticos del estado de Michoacán. El Centro Artesanal y Cultural es un espacio destinado a la preservación del arte popular “La Alfarería” y actividades de carácter cultural, educativas y artísticas. Es la solución a la ausencia de infraestructura en aspectos artesanales y culturales, beneficiando a los habitantes y visitantes con la finalidad de preservar la cultura y rescate de tradiciones que caracterizan a esta Tenencia. A través de un análisis al contexto se propone una arquitectura mexicana de integración la cual incorpora elementos vernáculos de la región, principios funcionalistas, así si como también la búsqueda de identidad, apropiación y la experiencia dentro del espacio.
