Patrimonio edificado en las tenencias de San Nicolás Obispo y Tacícuaro en Morelia. Memoria fotográfica

Abstract

This paper approaches the lack of assessment and knowledge of the built heritage, from the 16th to the 19th century, at San Nicolás Obispo and Tacícuaro through a photographic memory as the axis of the document. It is important to get to know first of all the context of this architecture, that is, what happened in Mexico, in terms of architecture, contemporaneously with these two holdings and then be able to understand the particularities of both holdings, from the historical background to the architectural features. After touching these points, we move on to the photographic survey of historical architecture and its characteristics, which allows us to know in a more reliable way these buildings and thus leave a visual testimony of them. Finally, a reflection is made, which in turn is a conclusive text, on the similarities and differences between the architecture of both tenures, and in the case of religious architecture, which is located in the sixteenth century, is compared with the architecture that was built during the same century in Mexico.

El presente trabajo aborda la falta de valoración y conocimiento del patrimonio construido, siglo XVI a siglo XIX, en las tenencias de San Nicolás Obispo y Tacícuaro a través de una memoria fotográfica como eje del documento. Es importante conocer primero el contexto de esta arquitectura, es decir lo que pasaba en México, en cuanto a la arquitectura, contemporáneamente a estas dos tenencias para después poder entender las particularidades de ambas tenencias, desde los antecedentes históricos hasta las características arquitectónicas. Después de tocar estos puntos, pasamos al levantamiento fotográfico de la arquitectura histórica y sus características, lo cual nos permite conocer de una manera más fidedigna estos edificios y así dejar un testimonio visual de los mismos. Por último, se hace una reflexión, que a su vez es un texto conclusivo, sobre las similitudes y diferencias entre la arquitectura de ambas tenencias, y en el caso de la arquitectura religiosa, que se ubica su temporalidad en el siglo XVI, se compara con la arquitectura que se construía durante el mismo siglo en México.
