Abstract

This document is made with the purpose of getting to know the aspects of a daytime retirement home; its functionality, its importance within the community and as a recreational and development space for elderly people as individuals of society. The document is divided into chapters of diverse aspects which, at the same time, contains a description of the content in each chapter, as well as its conclusion. The last chapter of this project draws out the selection of materials, constructive systems, decision making, calculation memories and disposition of each type of architectural plan depending on its implementation. The whole document and project was elaborated in favor of the well-being and comfort of the elderly, taking into consideration their dignity and independence with the purpose of offering moments of happiness, motivating them to conserve that mentality even outside of the facilities.

Este documento se realizó con el propósito de conocer una estancia diurna; su funcionalidad, necesidad dentro de la comunidad y como espacio de recreación y desarrollo dedicado a los adultos mayores como individuos de una sociedad. El documento se divide en capítulos de diversas índoles que a su vez contienen la descripción del contenido en cada apartado, así como conclusión. Sobre el proyecto, el ultimo capitulo redacta la elección de materiales, sistemas constructivos, la toma de decisiones, memorias de cálculo y disposición de cada tipo de plano según su ejecución. Todo el documento y proyecto se elaboró a favor del bienestar y comodidad del adulto mayor, buscando su dignidad e independencia con el propósito de ofrecer momentos de alegría, motivando a que conserve esta mentalidad incluso fuera de las instalaciones.
