Centro cultural de gastronomía michoacana, en Morelia (CCGM)

Abstract

The present work proposes the design of a cultural center of Michoacán gastronomy, in the city of Morelia. The building is projected in the transition zone of the historic center of the town. The architectural proposal aims primarily to respond to the interest of safeguarding our culinary culture, starting from the way of solving how to relate, architecture, culture and gastronomy, seeking the formal fusion between the tangible and the intangible, as well as the guiding elements of design, where the gastronomic culture, the use of space are linked to the historical past, and at the same time aspires to find its contemporary needs in congruence with its context. It is a center of attraction for the municipality of Morelia and its surroundings, acting as a generator of motivation for both citizens and local institutions.

El presente trabajo plantea el diseño de un centro cultural de gastronomía Michoacana, en la ciudad de Morelia. El edificio se proyecta en la zona de transición del centro histórico de la localidad. La propuesta arquitectónica pretende fundamentalmente dar respuesta al interés de salvaguardar nuestra cultura gastronómica, partiendo desde la forma de resolver como relacionar, la arquitectura, la cultura y la gastronomía, buscando la fusión formal entre lo tangible y lo intangible, así como los elementos rectores de diseño, donde la cultura gastronómica, el uso del espacio estén ligados al pasado histórico, y al mismo tiempo aspira a encontrar sus necesidades contemporáneas en congruencia con su contexto. Se trata de un centro de atracción para el municipio de Morelia y sus alrededores, actuando como un generador de motivación tanto para los ciudadanos como instituciones locales.
