Re-habitar La Central. Desarrollo híbrido con vivienda compartida en Morelia

Abstract

This work, born because of the necessity of explore and explode another line that the architecture can approach, that is, design starting from an existence building, and not with an empty project, taking the challenge to retake a building that already exist, a build, that have been losing its use over the time, and that in the actuality, could have another new use, that could help to revitalize the area in which the building is located. Currently, is a common factor, to see the expansion of the city in a horizontal way, as a normal thing, creating new housing complex, that ends up overpopulating the periphery, provoking the called “dormitory cities”, which ones consist of, use a house only to sleep, and waste all your day hours, taking long ways on automobile, or public transport, this, to can arrive to another places, to work, study, or pass time in whatever kind of activity that only cab be done into the city, this way of living, causes some problems, one of the main, is the abandoned f some parts of the cities. By another way, also, is common to find that the historic down towns on the cities, have being using only on the main streets, leaving the rest of the streets abandoned, this situation, causes problems of delinquency, insecurity, drugs, prostitution, low density of population, deterioration, among others, detonating in a low quality of life for the people who still live there. With this project, we are looking for, remember that the historic down towns on the cities, have the potential to make the population to come back to live into the “heat of the cities”, through the implementation of strategies like the mixed land use, co-housing, and another’s, with the purpose of create a community, and to improve the approval of the territory, and to improve the sense of identity of the population with his city. This project, include the analysis of the preexistence building that had been selected to use, the strategies to revitalize talking about the urban problems, which ones, was taken by the studies and planning programs that had already being realized by the government, and also, includes the design process that ends with the architectural project.

Este trabajo nace de la necesidad, de explorar y explotar, esa otra línea que la arquitectura puede abordar, el no diseñar desde cero, sino tomar el reto de retomar una edificación preexistente, que con el paso del tiempo ha perdido su uso, o que bien, puede tener uno nuevo, que ayude a revitalizar la zona en la que se encuentre. Actualmente, es común que la expansión de las ciudades se dé de manera horizontal, creando nuevos conjuntos habitacionales, que terminan sobre poblando la periferia de las ciudades, creando al final, las llamadas “ciudades dormitorio”, las cuales consisten en usar una casa únicamente para dormir, y durante el día, tener recorridos largos a otras partes de la ciudad, ya sea para trabajar, estudiar, o realizar cualquier tipo de actividad, dentro de la ciudad, esta manera de vivir, provoca diferentes tipos de problemáticas, siendo uno de los principales el abandono en algunas partes de las ciudades., Por otro lado, también es común encontrar que los centros históricos de las ciudades, sean utilizados únicamente en el primer cuadro, y calles principales, dejando el resto de estos, en abandono, lo cual provoca problemáticas de delincuencia, inseguridad, drogas, prostitución, baja densidad de población, deterioro, entre otros, detonando en una baja calidad de vida para las personas que aún viven ahí. Con este proyecto, se busca, recordar que en los centros históricos de las ciudades se encuentra un potencial en bruto listo para hacer que la población regrese a vivir al corazón de su ciudad, a través de la implementación de uso de suelo mixto, así como vivienda compartida, con el fin de lograr la creación de comunidades, identidad, y apropiación del territorio Este proyecto, conllevo el análisis de la preexistencia que se seleccionar a utilizar, las estrategias para revitalizar, de acuerdo a programas de planeación existentes, así como la exploración en el proceso de diseño que dio como resultado el proyecto arquitectónico presentado.
