Centro integral de atención al sobrepeso y obesidad

Abstract

The Obesity center refers to the comprehensive and multidisciplinary study of the patient with obesity by the different medical specialties related to this condition, and whose purpose is to offer the patient the best treatment for their overweight, obesity and their associated diseases. The Comprehensive Center of attention to overweight and obesity will be a physical place in which chronic illness can be attended by excessive accumulation of fat or general hypertrophy where an intense activity is carried out where there are activities to have a better well-being or a better functioning of the organism. The Obesity center will require an Initial Assessment by the medical specialists in order to establish if the patient is overweight or obese. At the beginning, the associated diseases will be diagnosed and controlled. Later habits and eating behaviors will be modified. Finally, the definitive treatment for each patient will be decided.

El centro de Obesidad se refiere al estudio integral y multidisciplinario del paciente con obesidad por las diferentes especialidades médicas relacionadas con dicha condición, y cuya finalidad consiste en ofrecer al paciente el mejor tratamiento para su sobrepeso, obesidad y sus enfermedades asociadas. El Centro Integral de atención al sobrepeso y obesidad será un lugar físico en el cual se puede atender la enfermedad crónica por acumulación excesiva de grasa o hipertrofia general donde se lleva a cabo una actividad intensa donde se producen actividades para tener un mejor bienestar o un mejor funcionamiento del organismo. El centro de Obesidad requerirá de una Valoración Inicial por los médicos especialistas con la finalidad de establecer si el paciente presenta sobrepeso u obesidad. Al principio se diagnosticarán y controlarán las enfermedades asociadas. Posteriormente se modificarán hábitos y conductas alimentarias. Finalmente se decidirá el tratamiento definitivo para cada paciente.
