Abstract

The concept of Culture covers not only artistic creation and cultural expressions, but also the significance of identities in different regions. In this thesis, a Sociocultural Center "Art & Leisure" is proposed in Morelia Michoacán. In this thesis, a new building is proposed that fosters culture in society and allows that this type of activities is part of their daily life, and this project will be solved with the objective of being a space that the solution to the requirements and expectations of the promoter. The architectural project is solved in all the stages, with the objective of being a space that the solutions to the requirements established by the promoter of the project and for the activities that are realized. Achieving a project with bioclimatic characteristics taking into account the climatic conditions, taking advantage of available resources to reduce environmental impacts, trying to reduce energy consumption.
