Conservatorio cultural de la gastronomía tradicional en Tzintzuntzan Michoacán

Abstract

This document presents the executive proposal of the Project: Cultural Conservatory of Purepecha Traditional Gastronomy, which was proposed in the municipality of Tzintzuntzan Michoacán since it was the capital of the ancient Purepecha empire; is a worthy representative of the ancestral traditions that remain alive within his community. The Gastronomic Cultural Conservatory aims to disseminate and preserve the practice, recipes and rituals that are developed around traditional cuisine. The initiative for this Project was the absence of an established public space where this cultural expression is shown, which in 2010 was recognized as an intangible heritage of humanity. The Project and its ornamentation were inspired by natural aspects of the environment and elements that are part of the identity of the municipality in order for the inhabitants to appropriate the space and represent the contemporary Tzintzuntzan.

Este documento presenta la propuesta ejecutiva del proyecto: Conservatorio Cultural de la Gastronomía Tradicional Purépecha, que fue propuesto en el municipio de Tzintzuntzan Michoacán al haber sido este capital del antiguo imperio Purépecha; es un digno representante de las tradiciones ancestrales que se mantienen vivas dentro de su comunidad. El Conservatorio Cultural Gastronómico tiene como fin la difusión y preservación de las practicas, recetas y rituales que se desarrollan en torno a la cocina tradicional. La iniciativa para este proyecto fue la ausencia de un espacio público establecido en donde se muestre esta expresión cultural que en 2010 fue reconocida como patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad. El proyecto y su ornamentación fueron inspirados en aspectos naturales del entorno y de elementos que son parte de la identidad del municipio con la finalidad de que los habitantes se apropien del espacio y represente el Tzintzuntzan contemporáneo.
