Biblioteca pública municipal en Ciudad Hidalgo, Michoacán

Abstract

In this document we will talk about the importance of the project development of the main library in Hidalgo city Michoacán, analyzed and projected to work according to the needs of the citizens of this town. this Project pretends to encourage people to make reading as a habit, making specific areas for each person in the room, and really give a meaning than just to have a room full of books, the project was sponsored by the government of this city. The public library is the most democratic institution of the society, where it gathers printed free information for the community, without racism, age or sex gender. the library it’s used mainly for spreading education, culture and research. The library is part of the society culture, as it says Andre Malraux “the culture is the sum of all the forms of art, of love and of thinking, that in the curse of centuries have allowed the man to be less enslaved”. Its unpredictable to focus in educational programs that involves reading as their main objective, giving that they feed that part that humanizes our life and there for stablish an identity as a society. The library is a space of research that has as a main objective to give information as a service, educational knowledge and entertainment to all the people whom enjoy the habit of reading (lecture). In the last years, the latest advances of information technology have evolved the way that gathers information and also the access to it, has produced a very significant change in the education. The public libraries give a service within their locals to the community and gives easier access to the services to all the people including to those who has reading problems been a public space means that belongs to everyone. The IFLA/UNESCO States that the library has to have specific services to whom cannot obtain regular services and ordinary materials, for instance linguistic minority, physical and mental handicap people, sick and inmates.

En este documento se hablará de la importancia de desarrollar el proyecto de Biblioteca Municipal en Ciudad Hidalgo Michoacán, pensado y analizado para funcionar de acuerdo a las necesidades de los usuarios de la ciudad y además es un proyecto que pretende fomentar la lectura, añadiendo espacios para ello pensados para cada tipo de usuarios e ir más allá de lo que solo significa una sala llena de libros, el proyecto está patrocinado por el ayuntamiento de la ciudad. La biblioteca pública es la institución más democrática de la sociedad, en donde se concentra información impresa de manera libre para toda la comunidad sin distingo de raza, edad, sexo ni credo, pudiendo utilizarse con fines de esparcimiento, educación, cultura, investigación o trabajo, entre otros. La biblioteca es parte de la cultura de la sociedad como dice André Malraux “La cultura es la suma de todas las formas de arte, de amor y de pensamiento, que, en el curso de siglos, han permitido al hombre ser menos esclavizado”. Es imprescindible enfocarse en programas educativos que involucran la lectura como su principal objetivo ya que estos alimentan esa parte que humaniza nuestra vida y así mismo lograr una identidad como sociedad. La biblioteca es un espacio de consulta y que tiene como objetivo brindar un servicio de información, conocimiento educativo y de entretenimiento para todas las personas que disfrutan del hábito de la lectura. En los últimos años los grandes avances de las tecnologías de información han revolucionado la manera en que se reúne y se accede a la información y ha producido un cambio significativo en el sector educativo. Las bibliotecas públicas prestan una serie de servicios dentro de sus locales como en la comunidad y deben facilitar el acceso de los servicios a todas las personas incluidas las que tienen dificultades para leer, siendo un espacio público pertenece a todos. El manifiesto de la IFLA/UNESCO sugiere que la biblioteca debe contar con servicios específicos para quienes por una u otra razón no puedan valerse de los servicios y materiales ordinarios, por ejemplo, minorías lingüísticas, discapacitados físicos y mentales, enfermos o reclusos.
