Centro de adopción y refugio canino en Morelia, Michoacán

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to design an architectural space dedicated to the shelter, care and protection of dogs that are in a street and / or abandonment situation. In collaboration with GHAPAD, data and statistics were obtained that justify this construction of in view of the fact that currently there are more and more abandoned dogs which is generating excessive and uncontrolled reproduction, this generates multiple problems for citizens such as the excrement that creates a big health problem for people and for dogs themselves. Another problem is the number of abandoned dogs, which can be one of the main objectives to combat, it is necessary to have a center for their accommodation and care while a temporary or permanent home for them is getting. Based on a descriptive and projective investigation, which allows an overview, the project intends to be carried out at the northeast of the city of Morelia, in a ground property of the association. The construction will have various spaces for the care, accommodation, recreation and interaction between the people and the dogs in the center. Also, this center will offer various services at low cost in order to the public be able to afford them, this intends to create an awareness of the care and welfare of both domestic and stray dogs. Courses, workshops, adoption events, interactions and other activities with the aim of raising awareness about animal welfare will also be provided. As resulting of investigation of the above mentioned project, which is the subject of this thesis, it is concluded that it is essential to have an adoption and canine shelter center in Morelia, Michoacán in order to provide a better quality of life for stray and domestic dogs and for this the importance of the creation of this center is reiterated.

El presente proyecto tiene como objetivo el diseño de un espacio arquitectónico dedicado al refugio, cuidado y protección de perros que se encuentran en situación de calle y/o abandono. En conjunto con GHAPAD se obtuvieron datos y estadísticas que justifique la construcción del mismo ya que actualmente son más y más los perros abandonados lo cual está generando una reproducción excesiva y descontrolada, esto genera múltiples problemas para la ciudadanía tales como son el excremento que crea un gran problema de salud para las personas y para los propios canes. Otro problema sería la cantidad de perros abandonados ya que al ser este uno de los principales objetivos a combatir es preciso contar con un centro para el alojamiento y cuidado de estos, mientras se encuentra un lugar temporal o permanente donde este pueda vivir. A través de un investigación descriptiva y proyectiva que permita una visión general se pretende que el proyecto se realice al noreste de la ciudad de Morelia en un predio propio de la asociación. El cual contara con diversos espacios para el cuidado, alojamiento, recreación e interacción de las personas con los perros q ahí se encuentren. La creación de este centro contara con diversos servicios y serán a bajo costo para que la ciudadanía pueda costearlos, con esto se intenta crear una conciencia sobe el cuidado y bienestar de los perros tanto domésticos como callejeros. También se brindarán cursos, talleres, ferias de adopción y convivencias entre otras cosas para concientizar sobre el bienestar animal. Derivado de la investigación del proyecto en mención en el cual es objeto este tema de tesis se concluye que es indispensable contar con un centro de adopción y refugio canino en Morelia Michoacán para una mejor calidad de vida para los perros callejeros y domésticos, con esto se reitera la importancia de la creación de este centro.
