Del universo totalitario a la escritura del exilio. La fuga sin fin de Imre Kertész

Abstract

The acknowledgement of writing as the place of birth for a new meaning of the holocaust-one which does not hold back on historical delimitations-is one of the intentions of the present work of investigation and is also one of the motives for which we choose Imre Kertész as the writer who aside from the official discourse, portrays and depicts in a very good manner the human reality of the concentration camps. The goal of this present work is to analyze the Kerteszian writings as a place where literature and philosophy converge (writings, exile and totalitarian universe) which bump into each other throughout the author's texts and it is precisely at the point where they interact and cross where all the essence of what we have called the exile writings relies.

El reconocimiento de la escritura como lugar de nacimiento de un nuevo sentido del holocausto -que no se retrae a las limitantes historiográficas- es una de las intenciones del presente trabajo de investigación y es también uno de los motivos por los que elegimos a Imre Kertész como el escritor que, fuera de los discursos oficiales, retrata de manera más atinada la realidad humana del campo de concentración. El objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la escritura kertesziana como un lugar en donde convergen continuamente literatura y filosofía. Presentamos una serie de elementos conceptuales, contenidos en la obra de Kertész (escritura, exilio y universo totalitario), que se cruzan a lo largo de los textos del autor y en cuyos cruces se condensa la esencia de lo que hemos denominado escritura del exilio.
