Segunda etapa del cementerio municipal en Paracho

Abstract

A municipal cemetery is a public space destined to house the remains of people, it is also an urban facility that favors the optimal development of a city, being designed and built for a social need. A cemetery cannot be associated only with a physical need of the project, there are a series of concepts that go beyond the tangible and depend on the own behavior of the society in the municipality where it is located. The project is located in the municipality of Paracho de Verduzco Michoacán, a village belonging to the Purepecha plateau, and the land is located on the outskirts of the municipality in the west. The need for this project arises mainly from the lack of space to house the mortal remains of the current cemetery and the problems that are generated as a result of this. In this sense, the new cemetery meets the needs of the inhabitants and also favors the urban development of the municipality of Paracho, based on the customs and traditions of society and the physical-spatial characteristics of the land and the city.

Un cementerio municipal es un espacio público destinado al alojamiento de los restos mortuorios de las personas, también es un equipamiento urbano que favorece al desarrollo óptimo de una ciudad, siendo proyectado y construido por una necesidad social. Un cementerio no puede asociarse únicamente a una necesidad física del proyecto, existen una serie de conceptos que van más allá de lo tangible y dependen del proprio comportamiento de la sociedad en el municipio donde se sitúa. El proyecto se sitúa en el municipio de Paracho de Verduzco Michoacán, un pueblo perteneciente a la meseta purépecha, y el terreno destinado se ubica a las afueras del municipio en la zona poniente. La necesidad de este proyecto se surge principalmente por la falta de espacio para albergar restos mortales del cementerio actual y los problemas que se generan a raíz de esto. En este sentido, el nuevo cementerio atiende a la necesidad de los habitantes y además favorece al desarrollo urbano del municipio de Paracho, tomando como base las costumbres y tradiciones de la sociedad y las características físico-espaciales del terreno y la ciudad.
