Centro de exposiciones del patrimonio mezcalero en Villa Madero Michoacán

Abstract

The content of this document consists of an investigation carried out to understand the conditions for designing an architectural site, an Exhibition Center focused on the Mezcalero heritage of the Villa Madero region of Michoacán, Mexico. The proposed thesis has among its objectives to achieve a greater initiative on the part of the inhabitants of the locality in cultural participation and the interaction between the architectural space and the individual. The municipality of Villa Madero Michoacán has achieved a recognized status in the state thanks to the denomination of origin that gives it the cultivation of mezcal maguey, for which the growth and demand for its distillates make it join the different economies and in turn, it creates a lifestyle among society, gradually becoming a symbolic heritage that is rooted in the people of this population. In this thesis are the theoretical foundations and the climatological conditions of the site, as well as the methodology followed to arrive at the correct design of the project, the problem totally governs the decisions made for the design, here the problems in spatiality suggested by the creation of an exhibition center, the importance of culture within societies and how it acts within the population, how to rescue heritage from architecture and how, in addition to proposing spatial solutions to meet the needs of a settlement it can also be a pioneer in redirecting the path of urban planning and social interactions. This thesis is made up of twelve chapters where the different stages of the investigation are explained in detail and the last one is dedicated to the architectural project.

El contenido de este documento consta de una investigación llevada a cabo para comprender las condicionantes para proyectar un recinto arquitectónico, un Centro de Exposiciones enfocado al patrimonio Mezcalero de la región de villa madero Michoacán, México. La tesis planteada tiene entre sus objetivos el alcanzar una mayor iniciativa por parte de los habitantes de la localidad en la participación cultural y la interacción entre el espacio arquitectónico y el individuo. El municipio de Villa Madero Michoacán ha alcanzado un estatus reconocido en el estado gracias a la denominación de origen que le da el cultivo de maguey mezcalero por lo cual el crecimiento y demanda por los destilados de este, hacen que se sume a las distintas economías y a su vez cree un estilo de vida entre la sociedad convirtiéndose poco a poco en un patrimonio simbólico que está arraigado a las personas de esta población. En esta tesis se encuentran los fundamentos teóricos y las condicionantes climatológicas del sitio, así como la metodología seguida para llegar a el correcto diseño del proyecto, la problemática rige totalmente las decisiones tomadas para el diseño, aquí se exponen los problemas en espacialidad que sugiere la creación de un centro de exposiciones, la importancia de la cultura dentro de las sociedades y como es que actúa dentro de la población, la forma de rescatar un patrimonio desde la arquitectura y como es que además de proponer soluciones espaciales para satisfacer necesidades de un asentamiento también puede ser pionera para redirigir el camino del urbanismo y de las interacciones sociales. Esta tesis se compone de doce capítulos donde se exponen a detalle las distintas etapas de la investigación y una última dedicada al proyecto arquitectónico.
