Sistema captador de agua de lluvia para Cocucho, Michoacán

Abstract

In this work, an alternative for water scarcity is exposed and developed, through a catchment system that guarantees access to rainwater through pots at the community level or household cisterns to guarantee and cover the basic needs of people during the year. A rainwater harvesting and utilization system (SCALL) consists of a design that allows the interception, collection and storage of rainwater. SCALL are a technology adaptable to urban and rural areas; there are rustic, sophisticated, high-cost, home, community options, etc. Installing SCALL in homes that already have water storage infrastructure, such as a cistern, is generally low cost and does not require users to change their habits.

En este trabajo se expone y desarrolla una alternativa para la escasez de agua, mediante un sistema de captación que garantiza el acceso al agua de lluvia mediante ollas a nivel comunitario o cisternas domiciliarias para garantizar y cubrir las necesidades básicas de las personas durante el año. Un sistema de captación y aprovechamiento de agua de lluvia (SCALL) consiste en un diseño que permita interceptar, recolectar y almacenar el agua de lluvia. Los SCALL son una tecnología adaptable a zonas urbanas y rurales; hay opciones rústicas, sofisticadas, de alto costo, domiciliares, comunitarias, etcétera. La instalación de SCALL en viviendas que ya cuentan con infraestructura de almacenamiento de agua, como una cisterna, generalmente resulta de bajo costo y no requiere un cambio de hábitos por parte de los usuarios.
