Geometría, un enfoque vectorial

Abstract

In this thesis we review, using vectorial techniques, the usual topics of the undergraduate course Analytic Geometry, of any university or college. The advantage of using vectorial techniques rather than the traditional ones is because, besides given a new approach to those topics, they give an easy way of visualize the conicals (circumference, ellipse, parabola and hyperbola) and the straight line, without the usual troublesome equations and with no loss of formality of any kind. I am well aware that this is not, at all, the first time this approach is intended but, probably, in this work it is much more accessible and comprehensible and better than that, it was written in Spanish language.

En esta tesis, revisamos, usando técnicas vectoriales, los tópicos de un curso normal de Geometría Analítica a nivel preparatoria o licenciatura. Las ventajas de emplear técnicas vectoriales en lugar de la forma tradicional, es porque, se pueden aprovechar los tópicos anteriores y visualizar fácilmente las cónicas (circunferencia, elipse, parábola e hipérbola) y la línea recta, sin las dificultades normales de las ecuaciones, sin pérdida de formalidad. Pero estoy seguro de que no es todo, porque es el primer intento de hacerlo y probablemente mucho más accesible, comprensible y mejor porque está escrito en español.
