Autognosis y humanismo. Análisis crítico de la propuesta filosófica de Samuel Ramos

Abstract

The present investigation has as main objective to analyze Samuel's thought Fields (1897. 1959), originating of Zitácuaro, Michoacán who was the initiator of the philosophical modern reflection on the Mexican and their culture. He carried out their studies medicine university students in the city of Mexico, in that same time also attended to some conferences of the philosophers of that time, that which led him to give up its career and to opt for the philosophy. The ideas that from then on developed they were a bridge between Antonio's Case previous reflections and José Vasconcelos, and the proposals later of info:eu-repo/semantics/other thinkers like Emilio Uranga, Leopoldo Zea, Octavio Paz, among info:eu-repo/semantics/others. In this work we won't limit ourselves to describe what said Fields, but rather we will try to make a critical reflection on their proposal, which rotated to our view around the title that gives name to this investigation, Autognosis and Humanism. That is to say, that the main topic is the man's relationship with its circumstance, which will be understood as a philosophical and cultural problem. The concrete understanding and peculiar of this relationship tries to offer elements to profile an alternative before a problem that he/she has an universal reach, that is, that envelope the philosophical car-knowledge of those cultural configurations of the human existence. Concretely, the purpose of this I work it is to revise the ideas of Fields around the Mexican and their culture, and their later one reflection on the civilization that has raised the coming of a new humanism.

La presente investigación tiene como principal objetivo analizar el pensamiento de Samuel Ramos (1897 – 1959), oriundo de Zitácuaro, Michoacán, quien fue el iniciador de la reflexión filosófica moderna sobre el mexicano y su cultura. Él realizó sus estudios universitarios de medicina en la ciudad de México, en ese mismo tiempo también asistió a algunas conferencias de los filósofos de aquella época, lo cual lo condujo a renunciar a su carrera y optar por la filosofía. Las ideas que desde entonces desarrolló fueron un puente entre las reflexiones previas de Antonio Caso y José Vasconcelos, y las propuestas posteriores de otros pensadores como Emilio Uranga, Leopoldo Zea, Octavio Paz, entre otros. En este trabajo no nos limitaremos a describir lo que dijo Ramos, sino que intentaremos hacer una reflexión crítica sobre su propuesta, la cual a nuestro parecer giró en torno al título que le da nombre a esta investigación, Autognosis y Humanismo. Es decir, que el tema principal es la relación del hombre con su circunstancia, la cual será entendida como un problema filosófico y cultural. La comprensión concreta y particular de esta relación procura ofrecer elementos para perfilar una alternativa ante una problemática que tiene un alcance universal, a saber, aquella sobre el auto-conocimiento filosófico de las configuraciones culturales de la existencia humana. Concretamente, el propósito de este trabajo es revisar las ideas de Ramos alrededor del mexicano y su cultura, y su posterior reflexión sobre la civilización que ha suscitado el advenimiento de un ―nuevo humanismo.
