El concepto de libertad en el republicanismo: fundamentos para una práctica ciudadana

Abstract

How do we come closer to the topic of the freedom? What does it take us to wonder on her? Surely, already be in an instant of our daily life, or in a long and committed reflection on that that us it links the info:eu-repo/semantics/other members of our community, we have ended up inquiring us about the relationship that we have as individuals with the world, or more concretely with the human world than us it precedes and in the one that interact. When wondering about this we investigate for the sense of those agreements that we have settled down with our fellow men, contrary to the relationships that we have or mutually we share with info:eu-repo/semantics/other natural beings. Among the humans we believe behavior rules, sometimes explicit and sometimes implicit. In the one traffic of our coexistence goes learning how to follow norms and behaviors. But it also happens that we wonder for their origin, or their relevancy, mainly when we have conflicts in our way to behave in the life with them. This takes us to carry out some questions: what paper I have inside these rules of human behavior? Can I be indifferent to them? I have that to ignore aspects that I recognize in me to fit in the established models? How do I act?... These and info:eu-repo/semantics/other questions can be relating for that that in several thought traditions, from aesthetic to religious, it would be the concept of freedom. The questions investigate our understanding Preposition of the individual thing, the social dimension and the encounter of both. In the sway of the daily occupation we apply, recognizing it or not, ways to solve our freedom. It can be granting preponderance to the rules and social orders, or in a personal commitment and aware of all that comes us from the exterior. Due to it, our interest in this work it is to recognize perspectives and arguments that base our social action being focused in that that seeks to be sustenance of freedom.

¿Cómo nos acercamos al tema de la libertad? ¿Qué nos lleva a preguntarnos sobre ella? Seguramente, ya sea en un instante de nuestra vida cotidiana, o en una larga y comprometida reflexión sobre lo que nos vincula a los demás miembros de nuestra comunidad, hemos llegado a inquirirnos acerca de la relación que tenemos como individuos con el mundo, o más concretamente con el mundo humano que nos antecede y en el que interactuamos. Al preguntarnos acerca de esto indagamos por el sentido de los acuerdos que hemos establecido con nuestros semejantes, a diferencia de las relaciones que tenemos o mutuamente compartimos con otros seres naturales. Entre los humanos creamos reglas de comportamiento, a veces explícitas y a veces implícitas. En el tránsito de nuestra convivencia vamos aprendiendo a seguir normas y conductas. Pero sucede también que nos preguntamos por el origen de ellas, o su pertinencia, sobre todo cuando tenemos conflictos en nuestra manera de conducirnos en la vida con ellas. Esto nos lleva a realizar algunas preguntas: ¿qué papel tengo yo dentro de estas reglas de comportamiento humano? ¿Puedo ser indiferente a ellas? ¿Tengo que ignorar aspectos que reconozco en mí para encajar en los modelos establecidos? ¿Cómo actúo?... Estas y otras preguntas pueden ser referentes para lo que, en varias tradiciones de pensamiento, desde estéticas a religiosas, sería el concepto de libertad. Las preguntas investigan nuestra comprensión acerca de lo individual, la dimensión social y el encuentro de ambas. En el vaivén de la ocupación diaria ponemos en práctica, reconociéndolo o no, maneras de resolver nuestra libertad. Puede ser concediéndole preponderancia a las reglas y órdenes sociales, o en un compromiso personal y consciente de todo lo que nos viene del exterior. Debido a ello, nuestro interés en este trabajo es reconocer perspectivas y argumentos que fundamenten nuestra acción social enfocándose en aquello que pretenda ser sustento de libertad.
