El pensamiento indigenista en Luis Villoro

Abstract

This research is conducted from the point of view of Luis Villoro, Mexican philosopher. Took the author mentioned the analysis that the term "indigenismo” and has been used throughout the history of our country. Importantly, it has been said of the Indians and even the very concept of "Indian" constructs have been or imposing an outsider who is not part of that social group. To understand the “indigenismo” in our country, Villoro says, who some of the ideas that have been Spaniards, Creoles and mestizos about the indigenous, which corresponds to a consciousness that is not what Indians about themselves shall mean such an approach by three moments which the author refers, each corresponding to a different historical period and therefore a different conception of the indigenous through which “indigenismo” has been addressed. For Villoro, “indigenismo” has been taken in terms of political and ethical theory, wherein said author advocates the recognition of indigenous cultures and communities, this in order to move from a homogeneous state to a plural state, since the latter must provide the resources or alternatives to address the limitations or deficiencies. It should be based on some principles such as autonomy, authenticity, purpose and effectiveness. With these principles the aim is to stop referring to universal culture and refer to that meeting the four principles. The plurality comprising indigenous peoples builds a radical break with liberalism: it claims to do is restore the plurality native peoples the ability to actively participate in political life and in the formation of laws and institutions. Indigenism not be considered a political ignored; contrary should continue giving reflections aimed to realize the legitimacy of indigenous political role, but this from a plural state, and that because this has not been achieved is still trying indigenous and excluding them in many areas of national life.

La presente investigación se desarrolla desde el punto de vista de Luis Villoro, filósofo mexicano. Tomo al mencionado autor por el análisis que realiza del término “indigenismo”, utilizado a lo largo de la historia de nuestro país. Es importante resaltar que lo que se ha dicho de los indígenas e incluso que el mismo concepto de “indio” han sido construcciones o imposiciones de alguien ajeno que no forma parte de ese grupo social. Para comprender el indigenismo en nuestro país se estudia el pensamiento de Luis Villoro, quien parte de las ideas que han tenido los españoles, criollos y mestizos acerca del indígena, lo cual corresponde a una conciencia que no es de lo indígenas sobre ellos mismos. Se entenderá dicho planteamiento por medio de tres momentos a los que se remite el autor, cada uno corresponde a una etapa histórica diferente y por lo cual de una diferente concepción de lo indígena por medio de la cual el indigenismo se ha venido abordando. El indigenismo de Villoro ha sido retomado en términos de teoría política y ética, donde dicho autor aboga por el reconocimiento de las culturas y comunidades indígenas, para pasar de un Estado homogéneo a un Estado plural, ya que este último debe proporcionar los recursos o alternativas para enfrentar las limitaciones o carencias. Se debe partir de algunos principios como la autonomía, autenticidad, finalidad y eficacia. Con estos principios lo que se pretende es dejar de referirse a la cultura universal y referirse a aquella que cumpla con los cuatro principios. La pluralidad que comprenden los pueblos indígenas construye una ruptura radical con el liberalismo; lo que pretende la pluralidad es devolver a los pueblos nativos la capacidad de participar activamente en la vida política, así como en la formación de leyes e instituciones.
