Zusammenfassung: | The paper named “The body as an ethical possibility” approaches the issue of the body in contemporary society, attempting to make a critique about its conception. Using as theoretical framework the ideas of Jean Baudrillard and certain phenomenological concepts from Edmund Husserl and Edith Stein, an analysis of the issue is elaborated, with the purpose of exploring the ethical possibilities that a different conception of corporeality would imply, the main objective being, to talk about the body, the ways it is perceived and how it shapes intersubjective relationships. |
