La idea de progreso a través del pensamiento decolonial. Redefinición y re-existencia humana

Abstract

This text entitled "The idea of progress through Decolonial Thought. Human redefinition and re-existence" establishes first that all the meaning of progress, as well as the premises that underlie it, inferring this content from the work of Robert Nisbet. Later it makes an analogical-critical comparison between progress and Decolonial Thought. Then it analyzes the social conditions of Decolonial Thought in the contemporary world, to finally dare to formulate a more human definition of his own progress, better understood now as Human Development. In short, we could say that our text deals with a humanist criticism and reformulation of progress, also denoting that it always intuits in depth the importance of the value of life in the Universe.

Este texto titulado “La idea de progreso a través del Pensamiento Decolonial. Redefinición y re-existencia humana” nos establece primero que todo el significado del progreso, así como las premisas que lo fundamentan, infiriendo dicho contenido de la obra de Robert Nisbet. Posteriormente realiza una comparación analógico-crítica entre el progreso y el Pensamiento Decolonial. Después analiza las condiciones sociales del Pensamiento Decolonial en el mundo contemporáneo, para finalmente atreverse a formular una definición más humana al propio progreso mejor entendido ahora como Desarrollo Humano. En síntesis, podríamos aseverar que nuestro texto trata sobre una crítica y reformulación humanista al progreso, además denotando que siempre intuye de fondo la importancia del valor de la vida en el Universo.
