La abducción en Peirce

Abstract

In the present paper I will work on the concept of abduction, which was worked on by the North American philosopher Charles Sanders Peirce. I have searched for other ways of understanding the third type of inference, specifically in the Mexican philosopher Porfirio Parra and the English philosopher John Stuart Mill. The above with the aim of highlighting the characteristics that Peirce finds particularly in abduction and that, on the other hand, make it a fundamental tool in the philosophy of pragmatism.

En este texto trabajaré sobre el concepto de abducción, el cual fue trabajado por el filósofo norteamericano Charles Sanders Peirce. He realizado un rastreo de otras maneras de entender el tercer tipo de inferencia, específicamente en el filósofo mexicano Porfirio Parra y el filósofo inglés John Stuart Mill. Lo anterior con el objetivo de destacar las características que Peirce encuentra particularmente en la abducción y que, por otro lado, la vuelven una herramienta fundamental en la filosofía del pragmatismo.
