Mastitis bovina causada por Staphylococcus aureus

Abstract

It is known that Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most difficult to control pathogens that can spread rapidly among the herd and may respond poorly to conventional antibiotic therapy. Hence the interest and the importance of having done this work. The methodology consisted of a literature review. To do this, we conducted a search, collection, selection, analysis and synthesis of current information, consulting scientific papers, disclosure, books and theses on the subject. Scientific papers were obtained directly from the researchers, via e-mail and postal, others were obtained by directly accessing databases and electronic journals. Books and theses were obtained from the library of the Faculty. The aim of this study was to review literature on bovine mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus. Therefore, it intended as a means of consultation for students, interns and people interested in the subject.

Se sabe que el Staphylococcus aureus es uno de los patógenos más difíciles de controlar porque puede diseminarse rápidamente entre el hato y puede responder pobremente a una terapia antibiótica convencional. De ahí el interés y la importancia de haber realizado este trabajo. La metodología empleada consistió en una revisión de literatura. Para ello, se llevó a cabo una búsqueda, acopio, selección, análisis y síntesis de información actualizada, consultando artículos científicos, de divulgación, libros y tesis respecto al tema. Los artículos científicos, se obtuvieron directamente de los investigadores, a través del correo electrónico y postal, otros se obtuvieron accediendo directamente a bases de datos y revistas científicas electrónicas. Los libros y tesis se obtuvieron de la biblioteca de la Facultad. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue hacer una revisión de literatura sobre la mastitis bovina causada por Staphylococcus aureus. Por lo que pretende constituirse en un medio de consulta, para los estudiantes, pasantes y personas interesadas en el tema.
