Abstract

The main diseases of aquarium fish are present in the more than 100 aquariums distributed in the state of Michoacán, an important economic activity because it is combined in clinics for domestic animals of various species, which as pets are in demand and there is a lot of movement, barter , commercial sale internally in the state and with the producing states and imported fish in which quarantines are not applied and when they get sick it is part of the business to return to the aquarium to buy medicines and visits to businesses to receive curative instructions and preventive. This work collects some diseases including parasites that in the literature are labeled for one species, but in reality other aquarium and fish farm species can suffer from them. This documentary and practical research is legally supported by the current health standard that gives legal importance to a good number of live fish diseases referred to in the document.

Las principales enfermedades de los peces de acuario están presentes en los más de 100 acuarios distribuidos en el estado de Michoacán, actividad económica importante porque se combina en clínicas de animales domésticos de diversas especies, los cuales como mascotas tienen demanda y existe mucho movimiento, trueque, venta comercial internamente en el estado y con los estados productores y peces de importación en los cuales no se aplican cuarentenas y cuando se enferman es parte del negocio el regreso al acuario para la compra de medicamentos y visitas a los negocios a recibir instrucciones curativas y preventivas. Este trabajo recopila algunas enfermedades incluyendo parásitos que en la literatura se rotulan para una especie, pero en realidad las pueden padecer otras especies de acuario y de granja piscícola. Esta investigación documental y práctica se apoya legalmente con la norma sanitaria vigente que le da importancia legal a un buen número de enfermedades de peces vivos referidos en el documento.
