Miasis por gusano barrenador del ganado Cochliomya hominivorax (Revisión documental)

Abstract

The main objective of carrying out this work was to collect, update, organize and study both historical and current knowledge of myiasis that are presented by the Cattle Screwworm (Cochliomya hominivorax), describe its most outstanding characteristics, such as damage that it causes at the level of public health (animal and human) and production.

El objetivo principal de la realización de este trabajo, fue recopilar, actualizar, organizar y estudiar los conocimientos tanto históricos como actuales de las Miasis que se presentan por el Gusano Barrenador del Ganado (Cochliomya hominivorax), describir sus características más sobresalientes, como los daños que ocasiona a nivel de la salud pública (animal y humana) y de producción.
