Producción de miel en Chinicuila Michoacán

Abstract

According to the Spanish Royal Academy, beekeeping is the art of raising bees to take advantage of their products. This project is carried out with the purpose of producing honey, pollen, propolis, wax and jelly, as well as giving added value to these products, thereby self-employing the family since the country is experiencing economic instability. The project will start with 100 hives and 100 nuclei of the Apis Mellifera bee of the Italian and meat breeds. Said project must be carried out in the community of Barranca Seca de Larios, Municipality of Chinicuila, Michoacán. The Mellifera bee or honey bee is the most valuable insect from the economic point of view. This popularity is due in part to the production of honey, jelly, poison and wax, but the main use of the honey bee is its role in pollinating fruit, vegetable and fodder crops, as well as non-cultivated plants that prevent soil erosion by fixing on it preventing it from being dragged into the oceans. Beekeeping can be started without the need for significant capital; The most humble person without much knowledge in this matter can become an amateur beekeeper, capturing a stray swarm and placing it in a box. In fact, some have started this way, but with interest and effort, they have continued to achieve success in beekeeping, learning new methods and studying the habits of bees. The beginner should familiarize himself as soon as possible with the habits of the bees, so that he knows when to feed them, enlarge his space, or when to receive the swarm. Otherwise, you will soon find yourself engaged in unproductive and even loss-making work.

Según la real academia española, la apicultura es el arte de criar abejas para aprovechar sus productos. El presente proyecto se realiza con la finalidad de producir miel, polen, propoleo, cera y jalea, así como darles valor agregado a estos productos, con ello autoemplear a la familia ya que el país pasa por una inestabilidad económica. El proyecto se iniciará con 100 colmenas y 100 núcleos de la abeja Apis Mellifera de las razas italiana y cárnica. Dicho proyecto ha de realizarse en la comunidad de Barranca Seca de Larios, Municipio de Chinicuila, Michoacán. La abeja Mellifera o abeja de miel es el insecto más valioso desde el punto de vista económico. Esta popularidad se debe en parte a que produce miel, jalea, veneno y cera, pero la principal utilidad de la abeja Mellifera es su papel en la polinización de los cultivos de frutas, hortalizas y vegetales forrajeros, así como plantas no cultivadas que impiden la erosión del suelo fijándose en él impidiendo que sea arrastrado a los océanos. La apicultura puede iniciarse sin necesidad de un capital importante; la persona más humilde y sin muchos conocimientos en esta materia puede convertirse en un apicultor aficionado, capturando un enjambre extraviado y colocándolo en una caja. De hecho, algunos han comenzado así, pero con interés y esfuerzo, han continuado hasta lograr el éxito en la apicultura, aprendiendo métodos nuevos y estudiando las costumbres de las abejas. El principiante deberá familiarizarse lo más pronto posible con los hábitos de las abejas, de modo que sepa cuándo ha de alimentarlas, ampliar su espacio o cuándo ha de recibir el enjambre. De otro modo, pronto se verá comprometido en una labor improductiva y hasta con pérdidas.
