Abstract:	The objective of this research is to contribute to the knowledge of the correct technique to carry out the aesthetic management of the dog's fur, considering the characteristics and zootechnical function of each breed, taking the American Cocker Spaniel as a model; as well as publicizing the latest advances in equipment and materials to facilitate this work. El objetivo de ésta investigación es contribuir al conocimiento de la técnica correcta para realizar el manejo estético del pelaje en el perro, considerando las características y función zootécnica de cada raza tomando como modelo a la raza Cocker Spaniel americano; así como dar a conocer los últimos adelantos acerca del equipo y materiales para facilitar esta labor.
