Abstract

There is no doubt that educational research is a very valuable tool for teachers who are interested in trying to do our work better every day, the important thing is to give ourselves the necessary time and have the desire to do it, patience, perseverance and above all enthusiasm to love what we do, with which better results can be expected. Evaluation is a very important element in academic activities, because as a teacher you think that enough is given to achieve the best possible learning of history, but if there is no evaluation, then there is no way to have support factors for the evaluation. feedback in the process. The research presented shows the importance of carrying out the evaluation process in the teaching of history in secondary education, in such a way that it is comprehensive and formative; since at present there are still teachers who only consider the cold summative evaluation to qualify the student, without taking into account significant learning. For this reason, the best learning is not achieved by giving the explanations directly to the student, but by helping him to form them and, therefore, the evaluation should precisely reinforce the stated purposes of training and not focus it on mere memorization, which It is one of the most difficult things to change in the ways of teaching history. This makes us reaffirm the need to resume educational approaches to make a different evaluation, which puts the understanding of history and the formation of skills and knowledge at the center.

No hay duda que la investigación educativa es una herramienta muy valiosa para los docentes que se interesan en tratar de hacer cada día mejor nuestra labor, lo importante es darnos el tiempo necesario y tener deseos de hacerla, paciencia, perseverancia y sobre todo entusiasmo al amar lo que hacemos, con lo cual se podrán esperar mejores resultados. La evaluación es un elemento de gran importancia en las actividades académicas, porque como profesor se piensa que se da lo suficiente para lograr el mejor aprendizaje posible de la historia, pero si no hay evaluación, entonces no hay manera de tener factores de apoyo para la retroalimentación en el proceso. La investigación que se presenta, muestra la importancia de llevar a cabo el proceso de la evaluación en la enseñanza de la historia en educación secundaria, de tal forma que ésta, sea integral y formativa; ya que en la actualidad aún existen docentes que sólo consideran la evaluación fría sumativa para calificar al alumno, sin tomar en cuenta el aprendizaje significativo. Por ello, el mejor aprendizaje no se logra dándole al alumno directamente las explicaciones, sino ayudándole a que las forme y, por lo tanto, la evaluación debería reforzar, justamente, los propósitos enunciados de formación y no centrarla en una mera memorización, lo cual es una de las cosas más difíciles de cambiar en las formas de impartir la enseñanza de la historia. Esto nos hace reafirmar la necesidad de retomar los enfoques educativos para hacer una evaluación distinta, que ponga en el centro la comprensión de la historia y la formación de habilidades y conocimientos
