Abstract

Reconstructing our past is an arduous task that allows us to really know who we are and where we are going, therefore, a people without memory is a people without a future, without expectations of progress and development, which is why we have been interested from the beginning in rescuing part of the fascinating history of the so-called Tierra Caliente del Balsas, an inhospitable territory that has been denied its importance within the historical evolution of both the processes that occurred within the state of Michoacán and the Republic itself, being considered the most times as an area of ​​little relevance for the development of projects of this type. So, from some time to date, we have been giving ourselves to the task together with Dr. Alejo Maldonado Gallardo, who would serve first as our Research Seminar professor and later as advisor to the project of which we present a finished product today, if it were to come. rescuing and returning its historicity to one of the many families of Spanish immigrants, who left their homeland behind to arrive in our country, as our compatriots do today towards the neighboring country to the North, in search of better life horizons.

Reconstruir nuestro pasado es una ardua tarea que nos permite conocer realmente quienes somos y a donde vamos, por tanto, un pueblo sin memoria es un pueblo sin futuro, sin expectativas de progreso y desarrollo, es por ello que nos hemos interesado desde un inicio en rescatar parte de la fascinante historia de la denominada Tierra Caliente del Balsas, un territorio inhóspito al cual se le ha denegado su importancia dentro del devenir histórico tanto de los procesos acaecidos al interior del estado de Michoacán como de la propia Republica, considerándosele la mas de las veces como una zona de poca relevancia para el desarrollo de proyectos de este tipo. Así pues de un tiempo a la fecha nos hemos venido dando a la tarea conjuntamente con el Dr. Alejo Maldonado Gallardo, quien fungiría primeramente como nuestro profesor de Seminario de Investigación y posteriormente como asesor del proyecto del que hoy presentamos un producto acabado, de venir rescatando y devolviendo su historicidad a una de las tantas familias de inmigrantes españoles, que dejaron atrás su patria para arribar a nuestro país, como hoy en día lo hacen nuestros compatriotas hacia el vecino país del Norte, en busca de mejores horizontes de vida.
