Catálogo documental. "Profesores de primeras letras (1871-1894)"

Abstract

With the purpose of obtaining the Bachelor's Degree in History and at the same time contributing to the rescue and dissemination of the historical documentary memory of the State of Michoacán, which is safeguarded and kept in the General and Historical Archive of the Executive Branch, today I have the privilege of present this Documentary Catalog on one of the important documentary Series of this Archive. Specifically, I am referring to the Series: Teachers of First Letters; of the Fund: Secretary of Government; Section: Title, covering the years 1871 and early 1894. For this, a total of 503 files were analyzed and described, which are contained in 17 AA-40 model boxes. In this way, the requirement established by the Graduation Regulations of the Faculty of History is covered. Of the 503 files contained in this Catalog, 400 of them have the photograph of the bearer, which were taken from the files themselves in the cases that have them and in some others, from the Books of Titles and Dispatches protected in the Archive of the Executive Branch. It should be clarified that in file number 124, the reception exams of five more supporters are described, since these are integrated into a single file, and according to the original Principle of Order, said file must be kept as and which it was integrated during its administrative function. For this reason, the separation of each one of them was not made. Having made the previous clarification, the number of applicants turns out to be greater than the number of files, since these amount to a total of 508; of which 375 are women and 133 men. Of these reception exams, 56 honorable mentions were awarded to the most outstanding supporters; of which 36 were for women and 20 for men.

Con el propósito de obtener el Grado de Licenciado en Historia y a su vez contribuir en el rescate y difusión de la memoria documental histórica del Estado de Michoacán, que se resguarda y custodia en el Archivo General e Histórico del Poder Ejecutivo, hoy tengo el privilegio de presentar éste Catálogo Documental sobre una de las Series documentales importantes de éste Archivo. Concretamente me refiero a la Serie: Profesores de Primeras Letras; del Fondo: Secretaría de Gobierno; Sección: Titulación, abarcando los años de 1871 y principios de 1894. Para ello, se analizaron y describieron un total de 503 expedientes, los cuales están contenidos en 17 cajas modelo AA-40. Cubriéndose así, el requisito que por ésta vía establece el Reglamento de Titulación de la Facultad de Historia. De las 503 fichas que contiene el presente Catálogo, 400 de ellas cuentan con la fotografía del sustentante, las cuales se tomaron de los propios expedientes en los casos que cuentan con ellas y en algunos otros, de los Libros de Títulos y Despachos resguardados en el propio Archivo del Poder Ejecutivo. Cabe aclarar que en la ficha número 124, se describen los exámenes recepcionales de cinco sustentantes más, ya que estos están integrados en un sólo expediente, y de acuerdo al Principio de Orden original, dicho expediente debe de conservarse tal y cual fue integrado durante su función administrativa. Por esta razón, no se hizo la separación de cada uno de ellos. Hecha la aclaración anterior, el número de solicitantes resulta ser mayor que el número de fichas, ya que éstos ascienden a un total de 508; de los cuales 375 son mujeres y 133 hombres. De dichos exámenes recepcionales, se otorgaron 56 menciones honoríficas a los sustentantes más destacados; de los cuales 36 fueron para mujeres y 20 para hombres.
