Catálogo documental: Juzgado primero penal y civil del distrito de Maravatío 1880-1959

Abstract

An archive is one or more sets of documents, photographs, plans, books and projects, regardless of their date, their form and material support, accumulated in a natural process by a person or public or private institution in the course of their management, preserved respecting their order to serve as testimony and information for the person or institution that produces them, for citizens or as a historical source. It is the documentary trace of what man did. But those papers must be organized, refined, taken care of, classified and catalogued. They must be placed in suitable spaces so that they are not damaged by humidity, sun or bacteria The purpose of the archives is to dispose of the documents in an organized manner in order to ensure that the institutional information can be recovered for the use of the own dependencies and entities of individuals and serve as support for historical research and source of cultural identity of the nation. The present work is titled: DOCUMENTARY CATALOG: FIRST CRIMINAL AND CIVIL COURT OF THE DISTRICT OF MARAVATÍO 1880-1959, whose function is to serve the public to be able to consult documents in criminal and civil matters, which allows knowing the situation of Maravatí society in the mentioned period. The work is structured in ten sections: the first one deals with the definition, importance and objectives of the documentary catalogue; the methodology and typology used in the preparation of the files, and that allows observing the conditions of the documents and the parts that make up the files (format); as well as the relationship of civil and criminal crimes of Maravatío.

Un archivo es uno o más conjuntos de documentos, fotografías, planos, libros y proyectos, sea cual sea su fecha, su forma y soporte material acumulados en un proceso natural por una persona o institución pública o privada en el transcurso de su gestión conservados respetando su orden para servir como testimonio e información para la persona o institución que los produce, para los ciudadanos o como fuente histórica. Es la huella documental de lo que el hombre hizo. Pero esos papeles se deben organizar, depurar, cuidar, clasificar y catalogar. Deben ser colocados en espacios adecuados para que no los dañe la humedad, el sol o las bacterias El propósito de los archivos es el de disponer de los documentos de manera organizada con la finalidad de asegurar que la información institucional pueda ser recuperada para el uso de las propias dependencias y entidades de los particulares y servir como sustento para la investigación histórica y fuente de identidad cultural de la nación. El presente trabajo se titula: CATALOGO DOCUMENTAL: JUZGADO PRIMERO PENAL Y CIVIL DEL DISTRITO DE MARAVATÍO 1880-1959, el cual tiene como función servir al público para poder consultar documentos en materia penal y civil, mismo que permite conocer la situación de la sociedad maravatiense en el periodo mencionado. El trabajo se encuentra estructurado en diez apartados: en el primero de ellos se aborda la definición, importancia y objetivos del catálogo documental; la metodología y tipología utilizada en la realización de las fichas, y que permite observar las condiciones de los documentos y las partes que integran los expedientes (formato); así como también la relación de delitos civiles y penales de Maravatío.
