Abstract

One of the main objectives of the General and Historical Archive of the Executive Power of Michoacán is the dissemination of the documentary historical memory of the State of Michoacán, in addition to facilitating access and location of information to students, researchers and users in general. With these objectives and with the personal purpose of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in History, I have decided to prepare this documentary catalogue. The cataloged documentation deals with one of the documentary series of great importance from the 19th and 20th centuries that are kept and guarded in the general and historical archive of the Executive Power of Michoacán and that are of great interest to scholars of the subject and to the indigenous communities of the state. I am referring particularly to the Libros de Hijuelas del Distrito de Morelia, No. 4 and 5, which belong to the Documentary Fund: Secretary of Government; Section: Governance Said books are ordered by Districts and by number, and in them we can appreciate the process that was carried out during the distribution of the lands of the indigenous communities. In this case, the books numbers 4 and 5 of the District of Morelia, which cover the years from 1869 to 1907, were analyzed and described. With the elaboration of said Catalog, it is also sought to provide better conservation and preservation of the original documentation by avoiding their direct manipulation. For this purpose, 599 files were prepared, thus covering the requirement indicated in the degree regulations of the Faculty of History and the UMSNH.

Uno de los principales objetivos del Archivo General e Histórico del Poder Ejecutivo de Michoacán, es la difusión de la memoria histórica documental del Estado de Michoacán, además de facilitar el acceso y localización de la información a los estudiantes, investigadores y los usuarios en general. Con dichos objetivos y con el propósito personal de obtener el título de Licenciada en Historia e decidido elaborar el presente catálogo documental. La documentación catalogada, trata sobre una de las series documentales de gran trascendencia de los siglos XIX y XX que se resguardan y custodian en el archivo general e histórico del Poder Ejecutivo de Michoacán y que son de gran interés para los estudiosos de la materia y para las propias comunidades indígenas del estado. Particularmente me refiero a los Libros de Hijuelas del Distrito de Morelia, No. 4 y 5, los cuales pertenecen al Fondo Documental: Secretaría de Gobierno; Sección: Gobernación Dichos libros, se encuentran ordenados por Distritos y por número, y en ellos podemos apreciar el proceso que se llevó a cabo durante el reparto de las tierras de las comunidades de indígenas. En este caso, se analizaron y describieron los libros números 4 y 5 del Distrito de Morelia, que comprenden los años de 1869 a 1907. Con la elaboración de dicho Catálogo, también se busca brindar una mejor conservación y preservación de la documentación original al evitarse la manipulación directa de los mismos. Para ello se elaboraron 599 fichas, cubriéndose así el requisito que señala el reglamento de titulación de la Facultad de Historia y de la UMSNH.
