La protección de los derechos universitarios en México. Origen, evolución y desafíos de los organismos defensores

Abstract

This research paper shows an analysis of the figure of the organizations defending the university rights in Mexico, starting from its origin to the present day; This analysis deals with the foundation, functioning, normativeness, structure and principles in which it is governed. It also presents a brief comparison with the international context, noting the situation in which Mexico is in the development of this figure. In addition to the analysis of the current state of the defending organizations, there is a reflection on whether they are currently functioning according to the requirements of the university community and the requirements in force regarding the protection of rights Human Some areas of opportunity and weaknesses are exposed, from which a proposal is made that can be improved.

El presente trabajo de investigación muestra un análisis sobre la figura de los organismos defensores de derechos universitarios en México, partiendo desde su origen hasta la actualidad; dicho análisis versa sobre la fundamentación, funcionamiento, normatividad, estructura y principios en que se rige. Se presenta asimismo un breve comparativo con el contexto internacional, señalando la situación en que se encuentra México respecto al desarrollo de esta figura. Aunado al análisis del estado actual de los organismos defensores, se hace una reflexión respecto a si actualmente se encuentran funcionando de acuerdo a las exigencias de la comunidad universitaria y los requerimientos vigentes en materia de protección de derechos humanos; se exponen algunas áreas de oportunidad y debilidades, a partir de las cuales se hace finalmente una propuesta que se considera puede aportar mejoras a la figura.
