Configuración del bachillerato de la Universidad Michoacana. 1932-1968

Abstract

For the year 1934, the first Six-Year Plan was introduced as a federal government program, which fell on the figure of General Lázaro Cárdenas. Within the plan, regarding education, the socialist orientation was introduced, through which it was intended to teach a concept of social life. Subsequently, this proposal would go to Congress to modify article 3 of the Constitution, which would establish that all education provided by the State would be socialist in nature. The adoption of socialist education as a State policy significantly affected the life of the Universidad Michoacana, since it was intended to include in its organization the spirit of the reform to article 3 of the Constitution, making important reforms to the Organic Law. In this same period, various educational actions were carried out that were relevant for the time, among which are the modernization of the country. They highlighted the creation of the National Polytechnic Institute, which had the objective of creating its own technology that would be developed throughout the country. The Department of Indigenous Affairs was also created; The National Institute of Anthropology and History was founded, which was destined to the archaeological and historical rescue of the country. Likewise, the House of Spain was established in Mexico, which from 1940 would be The College of Mexico, thanks to the welcome given to Spanish exiles as a result of the Civil War in that country. The atmosphere of the 1930s at the Universidad Michoacana was one of heightened social participation, vaccination brigades were organized, talks to improve hygiene were organized, student houses were created, there was an atmosphere of social participation.

Para el año de 1934 se introdujo el primer Plan Sexenal como un programa del gobierno federal, el cual recaía en la figura del general Lázaro Cárdenas. Dentro del plan, en lo referente a la educación, se introducía la orientación socialista, a través de lo cual se pretendía enseñar un concepto de la vida social. Posteriormente, esta propuesta pasaría al Congreso para modificar el artículo 3° de la Constitución, el cual establecería que toda la educación que impartiera el Estado sería de carácter socialista. La adopción de la educación socialista como política de Estado afectó de manera importante la vida de la Universidad Michoacana, ya que se pretendía incluir en su organización el espíritu de la reforma al artículo 3° constitucional, haciendo reformas importantes a la Ley Orgánica. En este mismo periodo se realizaron diversas acciones en materia educativa que fueron relevantes para la época, entre las que se encuentran en la modernización de país. Destacaron la creación del Instituto Politécnico Nacional, el cual tenía el objetivo de crear tecnología propia que se desarrollara en todo el país. También se creó el Departamento de Asunto Indígenas; se fundo el Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia, el cual estaba destinado al rescate arqueológico e histórico del país. Asimismo, se estableció la Casa de España en México, la cual sería a partir de1940 El Colegio de México, esto gracias a la acogida brindada a los exiliados españoles producto de la Guerra Civil en aquel país. El ambiente de los años treinta en la Universidad Michoacana era de una participación social exacerbada, se organizaron brigadas de vacunación, de pláticas para mejorar la higiene, se crearon casas de estudiantes, había un ambiente de participación social.
