Conflicto territorial durante el porfiriato. El caso de Zirándaro municipio de Guerrero

Abstract

This research will form three chapters, the ferst approach the general history of the people of Zirándaro her most representative economic activities such as agriculture and livestock; in the second chapter we address territoriality, economy and society during the Porfiriato, the territorial division in Michoacán in the early nineteenth century, and projects to boost economic development in the late nineteenth; and the third and final chapter focuses on the social conflict in the geographical separation of Pungarabato (Altamirano city today) and Zirándaro (1906), we end with the final delimitation of Michoacán and Guerrero and administrative policy. A very important point in this study is the formation of the new federal entity (Guerrero), since the formation of the state of Guerrero limits to the state of Michoacán not were well defined, which subsequently entail to have territorial disputes between the two states. This work was done in order to reflect all events that resulted in the annexation of the state of Guerrero Zirándaro, taking into account the political and economic situation of the state of Michoacán during the Porfiriato; therefore we focusing mainly on territorial movements made during the Porfiriato, as well as taking into account social conflict to territorial and cultural integration of Michoacán and Guerrero.

Esta investigación se forma de tres capítulos, en el primero abordamos la historia general del pueblo de Zirándaro , sus actividades económicas más representativas como la agricultura y la ganadería; en el segundo capítulo abordamos la territorialidad, economía y sociedad durante el porfiriato, la división territorial en Michoacán a inicios del siglo XIX, y los proyectos para impulsar el desarrollo económico a finales del siglo XIX; y el tercero y último capítulo se centra en los conflictos sociales durante la separación geográfica de Pungarabato (hoy ciudad Altamirano) y Zirándaro (1906), finalizamos con la delimitación definitiva de Michoacán y Guerrero política y administrativamente. Un punto muy importante en este estudio es la formación de la nueva entidad federativa (Guerrero), desde la formación del estado de Guerrero sus límites con el estado de Michoacán no quedaron bien definidos, lo que conllevo posteriormente a tener conflictos territoriales entre ambos estados. Este trabajo se realizó con el propósito de reflejar todos los hechos que dieron como resultado la anexión de Zirándaro al estado de Guerrero, tomando en cuenta la situación política y económica del estado de Michoacán durante el porfiriato; por ello nos enfocándonos principalmente en los movimientos territoriales realizados durante el porfiriato, así como también tomando en cuenta los conflictos sociales, hasta la integración territorial y cultural de Michoacán y Guerrero.
