La imagen discursiva de los movimientos estudiantiles en la prensa escrita local. El caso de Michoacán 2012

Abstract

The research proposes a methodology for the analysis of journalistic discourse on news of student movements in Michoacan in 2012 and the theoretical approach that underpins this research is critical discourse analysis. The work is part of a corpus of 266 newspaper articles of La Voz de Michoacán, Cambio de Michoacán, Diario Provincia; where their textual structure is analyzed to identify lexical, declarative and discursive characteristics that express, explicitly or implicitly ideological positions when student events are narrated in newspapers. Besides social statements they were analyzed and interviews Morelia society were made to make a comparison of the texts and confirm or rule out the influence of journalistic discourse on other discourses refer the student issue. In the analysis we find notions of context, registration, declarative brands, textual coherence and cohesion, macrostructures and superstructures, ideology and power in discourses, among other theorists worked by critical discourse analysis.

La investigación propone una metodología para el análisis del discurso periodístico sobre noticias de movimientos estudiantiles en Michoacán en el 2012 y el enfoque teórico con el que se sustenta esta investigación es el análisis crítico del discurso. El trabajo integra un corpus de 266 textos periodísticos de La voz de Michoacán, Cambio de Michoacán y Diario Provincia; en los que se analiza su estructura textual para identificar características léxicas, enunciativas y discursivas que manifiesten, explícita o implícitamente, posturas ideológicas cuando se narran acontecimientos estudiantiles en la prensa escrita. Además se analizaron pronunciamientos sociales y se realizaron entrevistas a la sociedad de Morelia para realizar una comparación de los textos y confirmar o descartar la influencia del discurso periodístico sobre otros discursos que refieren el tema estudiantil. En el análisis encontraremos nociones de contexto, registro, marcas enunciativas, coherencia y cohesión textual, macroestructuras y superestructuras, ideología y poder en los discursos entre otras trabajadas por teóricos del análisis crítico del discurso
