Integración de los mulatos libertos en la sociedad vallisoletana durante el siglo XVIII

Abstract

I discuss the beginnings of African slavery shallow way and his arrival in New Spain; present conditions mulatto freedmen during the seventeenth century, the beginning of their freedom, the ways in which obtained. Show the overall context of the Valladolid society during the first half of the eighteenth century, then enunciate the various jobs and trades in which participated mulatto freedmen, and ended this chapter birth rates. In chapter two, I discuss the social unity that exists between the various castes and mulattoes and syncretism. The marriages that occurred between the mulattoes, castes and Spanish. And finally in chapter three, I explain the phenomenon called "unknown father". And the invocations in the baptismal tastings and saints influence; and the bonds of cronyism between mulattoes, castes and Spanish.

Expongo los inicios de la esclavitud africana de manera somera y su llegada a la Nueva España; presento las condiciones de los mulatos libertos durante el siglo XVII, el inicio de su libertad, las formas por las cuales obtuvieron. Muestro el contexto general de la sociedad vallisoletana durante primera mitad del siglo XVIII, posteriormente enuncio los diversos trabajos y oficios en los que participaron los mulatos libertos, y finalizo este capítulo con los índices de natalidad. En el capítulo dos, expongo la unificación social que se da entre los diversos mulatos y castas, así como el sincretismo. Los matrimonios que se dieron entre los mulatos, castas y españoles. Y finalmente en el capítulo tres, explico el fenómeno llamado “padre desconocido”. Y las advocaciones en las catas bautismales y la influencia santoral; y los lazos de compadrazgo entre mulatos, castas y españoles.
