Industrialización, trabajadores y medio ambiente en la minería mexicana de siglo XX: el caso de “las dos estrellas en El Oro y Tlalpujahua, 1938-1959”

Abstract

This thesis, analyzes the mining activity of Tlalpujahua, Michoacán, from the year of 1939 to 1959 from a socio-economic line of study and through an analysis of documents from Archives of the East region, with an emphasis on the study of the workers, because it was of vital importance for the development of the region. Another aspect that revises this work, is the transformation of the environment, derived from the mining activity and that had negative repercussions for the region.

Este trabajo de Tesis, analiza desde una línea socio-económica y mediante un análisis de documentos de Archivos de la región oriente, la actividad minera de Tlalpujahua, Michoacán, durante los años de 1939 a 1959, haciendo énfasis en el estudio del ámbito laboral, debido a que fue de vital importancia para el desarrollo de la región. Otro aspecto que revisa este trabajo, es la transformación del medio ambiente, derivada de la actividad minera y que tuvo repercusiones negativas para la región.
