Abstract

The documentary catalog is an instrument of consultation that facilitates the organization, conservation and location of information, allowing researchers or users in general to consult in a more organized and organized way a collection of documents stored in a file. In this case, the present catalog is of chronological type and allows to study a small part of the local history contained in the Municipal Historical Archive of Tacámbaro of Codallos, Michoacán; During the years 1820-1832 in the section of justice. It covers several issues such as robberies, murders, beatings, insults, compulsory cooperation for civic militia, vaccination campaigns against smallpox, elections for mayors, etc. It expresses a way of imparting justice according to the criteria and customs of the characters involved, who would come as the mayor in turn, good men (who served as judges and at the same time witnesses) the defendant (s) and plaintiff (s) . It is an informative source that includes a small historical overview of the municipality of Tacámbaro, 539 descriptive files of cases contained in the documentary collection, graphs showing the participation of women and men in the different justice cases, an onomastic, A list of the places where the described events happened, were added some images of documents and the current conditions of the Archive, glossary and their respective bibliographic and digital sources.

El catalogo documental es un instrumento de consulta que propicia la organización, conservación y localización de información permitiendo a los investigadores o usuarios en general consultar de una manera más ordenada y organizada un acervo documental resguardado en un archivo. En este caso, el presente catalogo es de tipo cronológico y permite estudiar una pequeña parte de la historia local contenida en el Archivo Histórico Municipal de Tacámbaro de Codallos, Michoacán; durante los años 1820-1832 en la sección de justicia. Abarcando varios asuntos como lo son: robos, asesinatos, golpes, injurias, cooperaciones obligatorias para la milicia cívica, campañas de vacunación contra la viruela, elecciones de alcaldes, etc. Nos expresa una manera de impartir justicia de acuerdo a criterios y costumbres de los personajes involucrados, que vendrían siendo el alcalde en turno, los hombres buenos (que fungían de jueces y a la vez testigos) el demandado (s) y el demandante(s). Es una fuente informativa que incluye una pequeña reseña histórica del municipio de Tacámbaro, 539 fichas descriptivas de casos contenidos en el acervo documental, graficas donde se muestra la participación de mujeres y hombres en los diferentes casos de justicia, se presenta también una relación onomástica, una lista de los lugares donde sucedieron los hechos descritos, se agregaron algunas imágenes de documentos y las condiciones actuales del Archivo, glosario y sus respectivas fuentes bibliográficas y digitales.
