Abstract

This documentary catalog describes the boocks 10 and 11 of the “Hijuelas” District of Jiquilpan, Saint Peter Tinguindin indigenous Community. 1896 – 1903 series found: ministry of government; Section: interior; sheltered in the general and Historical Archive of the executive branch of Michoacan (A. G. H. P. E. M); documents produced by the process of division of community property made durig the XIX Century in Michoacán State. This paper discusses the justification, objectives and archival technical issues raised for this work; also the history of A. G. H. P. E. M., institutional study of the Ministry of Government and generating documentation entity, “Hijuelas” description of the documentary series, analysis as well as and archival record of the distribution of common goods in Jiquilpan, from its genesis to its final destination. It also includes a historical essay of Land distribution process in Jiquilpan, 1896 – 1903 and 597 catalog cards.

El presente catálogo documental describe los libros 10 y 11 de la serie Hijuelas del Distrito de Jiquilpan, comunidad indígena de San Pedro Tinguindín, 1896 – 1903. Fondo: Secretaría de Gobierno, sección gobernación, del Archivo General e Histórico del Poder Ejecutivo de Michoacán (A. G. H. P. E. M.): documentos generados por el proceso de reparto de bienes comunales realizado en el siglo XIX en Michoacán. Este trabajo aborda la justificación, objetivos y algunas técnicas archivísticas utilizadas en el mismo trabajo; parte de la historia institucional del archivo A. G. H. P. E. M, estudio institucional de la Secretaría de Gobierno, descripción de la serie documental Hijuelas, así como el análisis archivístico del expediente de reparto de bienes comunales en Jiquilpan 1896 -1903 y 597 fichas catalográficas.
