Catálogo documental de actas de cabildo del Archivo Histórico de la Catedral de Morelia, libro 58 (1844-1847).

Abstract

The present research of documental investigation has a totally of 1226 files they belong to a series of the city halls certificates from the Morelias Catedral book number 58. Through them, we can know the play role of the Catholic Church and the Mexico Government especially in the moment of the war whit the United States of America. More than that, the main support to the catholic church was the peoples contributions; furthermore, we also understand at the same time how the Mexican government has through history influenced the educational institutes like the Colegio de San Nicolas de Hidalgo, or the history of the society in this age.

El presente estudio de investigación documental cuenta con un total de 1226 expedientes que pertenecen a una serie de Actas del Cabildo eclesiástico, libro 58. A través de ellas podemos conocer el papel que desempeño la Iglesia católica y el gobierno mexicano particularmente durante la guerra con los Estados Unidos en 1846, en ese momento el principal apoyo por parte de la Iglesia era el Diezmo que entregaba la gente y la influencia gubernamental en las instituciones educativas como el Colegio de San Nicolás o la historia sobre el comportamiento de la sociedad en esa época.
