Feria Nacional de la Guitarra en Paracho, Michoacán, México (1973 – 2017)

Abstract

The present investigation analyzes the National Fair of the Guitar of Paracho, Michoacán, Mexico, 1973 - 2017, whose structure, organization, events and competitions, mainly those related to the guitar as the National Contest of Performers, National Contest of Constructors of Guitar, Classical Guitar concerts, exhibitions of string musical instruments and Tianguis Artesanal, contributed to the professionalization of the trade, improvement of the musical instrument, projection and transcendence at national and international level, which placed Paracho as “World Capital of the Guitar ”, Due to the quality and acoustics of the guitars manufactured by its artisans, in addition to the commercial impact, the festival revives values, sense of belonging and social participation of various sectors of the population.

La presente investigación analiza la Feria Nacional de la Guitarra de Paracho, Michoacán, México, 1973 - 2017, cuya estructura, organización, eventos y concursos, principalmente los que se relacionan con la guitarra como el Concurso Nacional de Ejecutantes, Concurso Nacional de Constructores de Guitarra, conciertos de Guitarra Clásica, exposiciones de instrumentos musicales de cuerda y Tianguis Artesanal, contribuyeron a la profesionalización del oficio, mejoría del instrumento musical, proyección y trascendencia a nivel nacional e internacional, lo que coloco a Paracho como “Capital Mundial de la Guitarra”, por la calidad y acústica de las guitarras que fabrican sus artesanos, además del impacto comercial, la fiesta revindica valores, sentido de pertenencia y la participación social de diversos sectores de la población.
