Estudio de viabilidad para la implementación del programa de semilleros de investigación de la FCCA en la UMSNH

Abstract

Nowadays, in the Facultad de Contaduría y Ciencias Administrativas of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, all the activities related to science have been centralized to a few number of people. A huge percentage of these actions are performed by teachers and researchers attached to this school, reducing the spaces that encourage critical thinking and the development of research skills in students. Due to this, an opportunity is presented to create programs that promote research in young university students. For the present document, a mixed research was done, combining bibliographic type, with the field work in 2 stages. First, the bibliographic part that includes aspects such as Science, Knowledge, Research, Evolution of Quality, Quality in Services and finally Quality in Education was developed. After that, a 6-week research trip was made to the Republic of Colombia, where three cities were visited: Bogotá, Medellín, and Pereira conducting interviews and the study of the "Seeds of Research" phenomenon at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad of Antioquia and the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Pereira headquarters. In the second stage of the field investigation, a study was carried out to determine the degree of interest of the students of the FCCA to be part of research groups. Finally, based on the results obtained from the feasibility study, a proposal for the creation of research groups for the students of the faculty is presented, these groups have been called: "Research Seeds". In general, according to the scale of measurement from 0 to 10, where 0 represents a null interest and 10 too much, it was found that the students of the School of Accounting and Administrative Sciences of the Michoacán University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo have an average interest of 7 percentage points, being those belonging to the Bachelor of Administration those who presented more interest.

Actualmente, en la Facultad de Contaduría y Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, las actividades relacionadas con la ciencia han sido centralizadas a un reducido número de personas. Estas acciones son emprendidas por profesores adscritos a esta facultad, limitando los espacios a los alumnos. Por esta razón, se presenta un área de oportunidad para la implementación de programas que fomenten la investigación en los jóvenes universitarios. Para este trabajo se hizo una investigación mixta, combinando de tipo bibliográfico, con el trabajo de campo en 2 etapas. Primero se desarrolló la parte bibliográfica que incluye aspectos como Ciencia, Conocimiento, Investigación, Evolución de la Calidad, Calidad en los Servicios y por último Calidad en la Educación. Posteriormente, se realizó un viaje de investigación de 6 semanas a la República de Colombia, donde se visitaron 3 ciudades: Bogotá, Medellín y Pereira, realizando entrevistas y el estudio del fenómeno “Semilleros de Investigación” en la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Universidad de Antioquía y la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia sede Pereira. En la segunda etapa se realizó un estudio determinar el grado de interés por parte de los alumnos de la FCCA en formar parte de grupos de investigación. Por último, con base en los resultados obtenidos por el estudio de viabilidad, se presenta una propuesta de creación de grupos de investigación para los alumnos de la facultad, dichos grupos han sido denominados: “Semilleros de Investigación”. De manera general, de acuerdo a la escala de medición de 0 a 10, donde 0 representa un nulo interés y 10 demasiado, se encontró que los alumnos de la Facultad de Contaduría y Ciencias Administrativas de la Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo tienen un interés promedio de 7 puntos porcentuales, siendo los pertenecientes a la licenciatura en Administración los que más interés presentaron.
