Análisis de la operatividad de las AFORES en México: para la correcta elección del trabajador

Abstract

This paper reviewed the operation of the Retirement Fund Administrators (AFORE) began in Mexico on July 1 of the year 1997, with the aim of encouraging savings in workers and thus ensure a decent pension through a more fair, equitable and financially viable system. The AFORE is aimed at the working class can also be classified by sector, social class, income level, age and even by gender. Apparently these are some aspects that the AFORES consider decisive at the moment of having to define their strategy to follow, and thus be able to channel all efforts in order to promote their services and achieve objectives. The objective of this study was to develop an analysis of the Operability of the AFORES that exist in Mexico, with the result that in the working class or in society in general there is ignorance about this system, concluding that the reason for this exists ignorance about the AFORES is the lack of availability and interest on the part of workers to address this issue having as a consequence be misinformed, with respect to savings options for retirement, therefore they are seldom sure to make the right decision . On the other hand, the promoters of the administrators do an incomplete job whose purpose is actually to convince the workers but not to inform them, a situation that affects not only the worker but also the same administrators who lose credibility and a good part of their portfolio due to of the services they provide.

En este trabajo se revisó la operatividad de las Administradoras de Fondos para el Retiro (AFORE) iniciaron en México el primero de julio del año de 1997, con la finalidad de fomentar el ahorro en los trabajadores y así garantizar una pensión digna a través de un sistema más justo, equitativo y viable financieramente. La AFORE está dirigido a la clase trabajadora también se puede clasificar por sector, clase social, nivel de ingresos, edad y hasta por género. Al parecer estos son algunos aspectos que las AFORES consideran decisivos al momento de tener que definir su estrategia a seguir, y poder canalizar de esta forma todos los esfuerzos a fin de promover sus servicios y alcanzar objetivos. El objetivo de este estudio consistió en desarrollar una análisis de la Operatividad de las AFORES que existen en México, teniendo como resultado que en la clase trabajadora o en la sociedad en general hay desconocimiento respecto a este sistema, concluyéndose que el motivo de que exista este desconocimiento acerca de la AFORES es por la poca disponibilidad e interés por parte de los trabajadores para atender este tema teniendo como consecuencia estar mal informados, respecto a las opciones de ahorro para el retiro, por lo mismo pocas veces están seguros de tomar la decisión correcta. Por otro lado, los promotores de las administradoras hacen un trabajo incompleto cuya finalidad en realidad es convencer a los trabajadores más no informarlos, situación que afecta no solo al trabajador sino también a las mismas administradoras que pierden credibilidad y buena parte de su cartera por causa de los servicios que brindan.
