Diseño y construcción del enlace por fibra óptica del Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas y Empresariales al Edificio T2

Abstract

This thesis is focused on the implementation of a link via Fiber Optic Multimode between the Institute for Economics and Business Research and the T2 building in Ciudad Universitaria and to receive the benefits that this brings to be connected to the university network and as well as the procedure to be performed to carry out such a link, the laying of fiber splices measured fusion to Switch mounted in each building. The comparison with the means of transmission through Radio link and Single Mode Optical Fiber, both the cost required to implement each of these various links and compare the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. To view because they came to the decision to link using Multimode Fiber Optic.

Este trabajo de tesis está enfocado a la implementación de un enlace por medio de Fibra Óptica Multimodo entre el Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas y Empresariales y el edificio T2 en Ciudad Universitaria, y puedan recibir los beneficios que esto conlleva al estar conectados a la red universitaria, así como también el procedimiento que se realizó para llevar acabo dicho enlace, el tendido de la fibra, los empalmes por medido de fusión, hasta el montado en los Switch de cada edificio. La comparación con los medios de transmisión por medio de Radio enlace y por Fibra Óptica Monomodo, tanto el costo que se requiere para implementar cada uno de estos distintos enlaces y las comparaciones entre las ventajas y desventajas que tiene cada uno de ellos. Para poder ver porque es que se llegó a la decisión de realizar el enlace por medio de Fibra Óptica Multimodo.
