Proyecto de restauración y nuevo uso de la estación de tren de Villachuato, Puruándiro, Michoacán

Abstract

After the abandonment of the railway heritage in its use as a transport system at the end of the 20th century in Mexico, the railway stations were left without working, without care or maintenance, therefore, they caused deterioration and alterations; This thesis presents the restoration project and new use of the train station located in the town of Villachuato, municipality of Puruándiro, Michoacán. With this, the rescue of a property that is part of the Michoacan industrial heritage is sought, it is intended that the project respond to the needs of the town and rehabilitate the building as a meeting point and service for the community.

Tras el abandono del patrimonio ferrocarrilero en su uso como sistema de transporte a finales del siglo XX en México, las estaciones de ferrocarril quedaron sin funcionar, sin cuidado ni mantenimiento, por consiguiente, propiciaron deterioros y alteraciones; la presente tesis presenta el proyecto de restauración y nuevo uso de la estación de tren ubicada en la localidad de Villachuato, municipio de Puruándiro, Michoacán. Se busca con ello el rescate de un inmueble que es parte del patrimonio industrial michoacano, además, se pretende que el proyecto responda a las necesidades propias de la localidad y rehabilitar el edificio como punto de encuentro y servicio para la comunidad.
